The purpose of this blog is to try and connect the different threads of my life into a cohesive whole, to find a purpose that is greater than the sum of its parts. It is my deepest desire to find and then put to use my strengths, talents, gifts and joys in order to serve, inspire or move those that I meet along the way.
I have been on a journey of self discovery for many years, but it is only now that I feel it coming together, only now that the reason for my disparate interests is becoming clearer.
Until now I have been plagued with self doubt, lack of confidence and inability to trust my intuition. But I no longer want to let fear stop me or allow doubt to discourage me.
I want to dive straight in, experience new ways of being, and remain open to whatever Life has to offer.
Last night I wrote my first post in a bid to simply make a start, to show up. My intention is to write something every day in order to activate my creative juices, become more inspired and allow space for ideas to emerge.
I woke this morning buzzing with insights and things of interest that I wanted to share. Just one night is all it took for the energy of that original intention to start working. It feels as if my psyche has had a kick start, and my whole being is now immersed in, and aligned with, this blog. It is as if it is now a we – the blog and I – working together for the common good. It has a power of its own, and together we are going out into the world. To do what I know not yet, but it feels as if it will be big. And benevolent.
I have started this blog to share my ideas, to gain momentum in finding my true passions and gifts, and to put an end to procrastination and perfectionism.
If I waited until I had the perfect theme, the perfect layout, the perfect words I would not have set up this website and I would not have written any words.
I am going to learn as I go along ….
